To quote an old Beatles song, "it's getting better all the time"

Well, the people on the Wiki team seem to be responding and things look like they are starting to come together. We are still missing half our team, but I have all confidence in the people who are "on board."

A tad bit frustrated

Well, the main reason that this blog was created was for my Comstu class. Now we are working in teams to create a wiki. The problem is, my team does not seem to respond well to email. (or any other type of communication for that matter!) I totally don't want to be a jerk and have my attitude mis-interpreted, but as the team lead (I didn't ask for the job) I feel a responsibilty to get things done. But then the question arises, get things done for who? At this point I have gotten as much response from a non-team member classmate as I have with my current team members.

If you are on the World's End team, please don't think I don't like you, heck! I don't even know you! But I am just very frustrated at this moment.

I need to get me one of these!

Microsoft... Keepin' it FRESH

Rant: For years I have used Outlook 2000. It did everything I needed it to, but recently I upgraded to Office 2003. For years to send/receive in Outlook all you had to do was press the F5 key. The F5 key used to be the universal "refresh" key. It refreshes the page in Internet Explorer and the folders in Windows explorer.

But in Outlook 2003 they changed it! It's now the F9 key!

I would understand if the F5 key played some vital role and needed to be assigned as such in Outlook, but it doesn't, now it doesn't do anything at all.

Way to go Microsoft! Way to keep it FRESH!

World's End

Well, our Team has started our Wiki project. It's about The World's End. Not the end of the world mind you, but the Island in Boston Harbor.

Snowing...

Well, it's Saturday and it's snowing again. But of course, the weather report made it seem like it was going to be another big one. But lo and behold... it's not that bad.

I wonder why in this day and age that they still can't accurately predict the weather. So I did a little poking around on that Interweb thing and I found this nice little weather mashup site. http://www.weatherbonk.com/. I don't know if it is any more or less accurate than the local news or www.accuweather.com or www.weather.com, but it has live webcams from all across the United States which I found to be pretty cool.
